Avid support for 8-core Mac Pro workstation


Mac Pro 8 coreToday avid released an update to Avid Xpress Pro version 5.7.2 which has been the official qualification of the 8-core Mac Pro workstation. Importantly, this release also adds full support for Mac OS X 10.4.9 and QuickTime 7.1.6.

In march, Avid deliver a Universal Binary version of Avid Xpress Pro for PowerPC and Intel-based Macs with version 5.7.
