Yesterday, I watched Speed Racer (7pm show), Directed by Wachowski Brothers in Serene, (Sathyam Cinemas, Chennai, India) on Digital Projection.More than 10 places there was jerk, non-framing and frame skip. I watched Digital projection in Sathyam Cinemas before and I never seen this kind of mess up earlier. I wonder, how Warner Brothers without undergoing a Quality Checkup of their Digital Prints send to theaters. The film is a fast motion, virtual reality and synthetic look and adding to that the digital print jerks and non-frame makes the movie non-pleasure for Cinema viewing. Is Hollywood Digital Cinema Initiative wants the pleasure of movie watching with this kind of mess up?

• Is this an issue with Digital Server from QUBE?
• Is this an issue with Encoding of the movie based on  Hollywood Digital Cinema Standards?
• Is this an issue only with certain prints like one we have in SERENE, India?

Whatever it may be, Hollywood needs to make sure before trying out with Digital Exhibition system, else people will be sitting in their couches and watching in Home theaters rather than coming to theaters.
