RedOne shoot to Avid offline to Smoke finish in 3days


Last week worked on Television Commercial “Chennai Marathon 2008″ from shoot to finish in 3 days. Offline was done in Avid. Given below the Avid workflow.RedOne Avid Smoke finish

    How long did that transcoding of r3d’s to DPX take?
    From my experience, that should have been the main brunt of the whole experience eh?

    What are you guys doing with the footage that you guys are shooting right now with one of our cams? Still going to transcode or use Scratch?

    Couldn’T you have exported an XML from Avid and go directly in Crimson? I tought Crimson was supporting Avid XML. Did you encountered any problems doing so with timecode slips or other aspects of the conform.
